Back in 1980, Stussy’s founder Shawn Stussy was a surfboard shaper who decided to transfer his signature logo onto t-shirts and sell them alongside his boards in Laguna Beach, California.

Inspired by an international group of musicians, skaters, DJs and artists, the Stussy Brand soon expanded into an international streetwear label and became a by-word for popular culture with over sixty shops around the world. As the slogan goes, Stussy’s hard wearing clothes are always ‘built for the long haul.’
